Short, Short Term (3-6 months)

Climbing Goals

  • Consistently climb twice a week
  • Climb at least one climb that is graded at 5.8 difficulty per climb

Recovery and Rest Goals

  • Lower or limit pain experienced during rest days
  • Keep moving!
  • Reduce days that I experience tingling or soreness in hands and fingers

Short Term (6-18 months)

Climbing Goals

  • Consistently climbing twice a week and more than 3 climbs in a session
  • Try to climb a route with a 5.9 grade at least once

Recovery and Rest Goals

  • Keep pain and soreness levels around a 5-6 on the pain scale, at the peak
  • Stronger grip strength, quadriceps, and hip muscles to reduce instability issues around the joints
    • Increase weight being used during weight training by 3-5 pounds, minimum
