Nutrition

I was really good about tracking my food and eating better during the early days of the pandemic. The extra time stuck at home allowed me the time to really focus on making some good healthy habit changes. I lost 20 pounds which helped reduce the load on my hips, knees, and feet, which are problem areas for me.

Since then, I’ve not done well with feeding my body what it needs. And, I’m working on doing that. Based on multiple apps and reading, I need to eat more. And, with my increased risk of certain cancers, I need to increase my fiber intake considerably.

With the increase in activity and strain I am putting on my body I noticed that it was having a hard time keeping up with the wear and tear I was creating. I know I need to feed my body more of what it needs to rebuild and reduce inflammation.
